Hartford to Hong Kong is no mean feat and we cannot wait to get started! We have plotted most of the route now, if not down to the exact road, definitely which cities and places we'd like to visit along the way. Check out our map below and zoom in to see where we will be going.
Why Hong Kong?
We moved to Hong Kong for two years when we were 7, we both have fond memories of our time there, going to school, learning Cantonese, going on the Star Ferry to Hong Kong Island, visiting the Temple of Ten Thousand Buddha's in Sha Tin, and the butterfly house in Ocean Park.
We often spoke about going back to visit our old house in Hong Lok Yuen and our favourite places which is why Lou suggested going back there, with the added twist of cycling the whole way!
If we are successful then it will be the first time that we’ve been back to Hong Kong since we left when we were 9 years old.
